Late Summer and Early Fall Fishing on Amelia Island FL.
By Captain Allen
We are looking forward to later summer and early full fishing on Amelia. The tarpon are showing up like this 50lbs we leased, they will be running anywhere from 40 lbs. to 200lbs. the best fishing for the Tarpon is around the jetty’s and in the pogie pods. We are also catching nice red fish like this triple header we release. The flounder are running as well like this one 4.5 lbs. This year we are catching some big tiger sharks like the one John is holding. Behind the shrimp boat the black tips are chewing like the one Travis is holding for Alex. We are also catching some small Atlantic Sharp noise like the one Breanna caught. The jacks are running in the pogie pods like the ones the boys are holding. The best fishing this time of year is near shore not a lot of running time and more catching so Quit Wishin let’s go Fishin !!!
