Back Water Fishing on Amelia Island FLA.
By Captain Allen
With the cooler weather and water temp coming down in the high sixty’s the trout are schooling up and turn on. We headed out on a four hour trip in the back water with three anglers. First spot off of the wind and the reds where chewing eating live shrimp and green grabs. We caught ten reds and eight out of the ten where keepers and we release then all. We caught about forty five trout and we had the limit of five each out of the forty five keep five for my neighbor. We went throw 120 shrimp had a great afternoon. The backwater fishing is the best fishing this time of year and the trout, flounder and reds are some of the best eating as well. Quit Wishing Let’s go Fishin!!!
